Hi sad news today, our darling Sian has lost her battle with the big c. We spent her last minutes holding her on my lap and she went to sleep with her heartbroken family around her. She passed peacefully without fuss. Will miss my beautiful girl Sian.
Our sincerest condolences to Jacqui and family who gave Sian (was Harmony) 4 years of love and devotion xx
Hi CLAIN Team.
Tony and I just want to pass on some very sad news.
Our Charlie Boy passed away today. Sadly he was diagnosed with a large tumour in his stomach and we had to end his suffering.
White Cross Vets were very professional and sensitive throughout.
We also wanted to say what a wonderful 2 years we had with him. We brought him home on 13 May 2017 (which was also his birthday) and he changed our lives for the better. He was such a loving special member of our family. Thank you for letting us provide a good home for him and please continue your good work.
Heartbroken dog-parents, Shirley & Tony xxx
My beautiful lab retriever Max said goodnight last week. He was adopted 11 years ago (formerly Bruno and nicknamed crazy horse by the staff) He couldn’t have been more loved and my home feels empty without him. In time, I would love to rescue another dog ( although I think it was Max who rescued us!) Carol x
Thank you for giving him a lovely home. Sending you our sincere condolences. Tracey x
14.6.19 10 years ago I got my baby Tia (formerly Kia) ,from Carla Lane and this morning we had to say goodnight 💔, she was an independent funny little lady x I'm going to miss her so much 😢 Amie x
The very special Cassie in happier times in 2014 when she was adopted by Brian.
She waited over 2 years for a home. She was very much loved by Brian and sadly passed away on 5th June 2019 age 9. Our sincerest condolences to Brian. She was one of our special ones. xx
We had the saddest news this morning, our lovely boy Kurtis passed away in his sleep. 😔 He was enjoying life and putting on weight after moving to a new house with garden.
He had a happy day yesterday ate his Tea went to bed but didn’t wake up this morning.
His owners are broken hearted, they gave him the chance he deserved.
Heartbreaking we will miss that funny spirited boy.

Hi Tracey, just to let you know Jessy has sadly passed away today. We are absolutely heartbroken and are missing her so much. Xxx
We have lost some really special pets in the last few days. Our hearts go out to all their owners...
Hi there, I just wanted to let you know that Nala (formally Bliss) sadly passed away last night. She was perfect until the very end. We don't know what happened, she didn't give us any signs she was really ill, she went asleep last night in her usual space next to the bed just after midnight and I checked on her at 2am and found she'd passed away. We are absolutely heartbroken but wanted to thank you for all the years we had with her. X
Tracey, Kate & all the staff at Carla Lane.It is with a very heavy heart that I have to tell you that my beautiful boy Angelo passed away yesterday. He brought a wealth of joy to my world & I was smitten from the very first moment I saw him. He was a loving soul and the sweetest cat I could have wished for and he became my constant & loving companion.I had hoped we had many happy years ahead of us but sadly it was not meant to be.My world is changed forever and ,I cannot even begin to comprehend the sadness I am feeling right now not hearing him wake me up for his breakfast & knowing this morning we won’t share our first morning cuddles.I do however thank you all for allowing me the complete and utter privilege of becoming his owner and for every moment of happiness we had together.Kindest regards Diane.
Diane, that is desperately sad. I am so sorry to read this. I know how much you adored him. Sending you a big hug from me. Thank you for being part of his life and making him feel happy and loved. Take care. Tracey x
To all at CLAIN
I just thought I’d let you know that we had to say goodbye to our much loved Riley yesterday. We as a family are truly heartbroken and devastated. We adopted Riley from you back in October 2009. He gave us the best 10 years of our lives and was such a big part of our family. He was the most gentle soul, everyone who met him, loved him. We are going to miss him so much and has left a massive empty hole in our hearts and our family. Thank you all, for matching us with most perfect ‘second hand’ dog which is what he used to call him. I’ve enclosed some pics, I’d love to know if there is anyone there from when he was in to be rehomed and if they remember him? He was in with another Staffy called Cassie who they tried to rehome together but reluctantly split up, Cassie got her new home the day before we visited otherwise I would have taken them together. Anyway, if anyone remembers him, he had the best life with us and we miss him so much, thank you. The Morris family xxxxx
22.5.19 Yesterday Paul and I said goodbye to our beutiful big boy Teddy Warpig. Teds hadn't been well for a bit, not that you would know as he still was very Teddy like. Teddy was rescued by us 5 years ago. No-one ever really knew how old he was except for Teddy himself, and he wasn't for telling us. He could sit looking so proud sometimes we always like to think he was in the Raj previously. We believe he had a very well spoken voice most of the time, and the rest of the time very low, thick accent. I like to think he had a good life with lots of love and cuddles, and trips out in his chariot. We love him very much and miss his stupid face. Wewould like to thank all of the staff at Carla Lane for giving us Teddy and all of their help towards the end of his life, in particular a big thanks to Cath who contacted us regularly to let us rant and to provide advice on his illness, both professionally and personally. We Sleep well Teddy warpig, a good boy to the end and a splendid dog. Rachel Xxx
Much loved pet of Tracy..."Bailey bulldog the best dog ever" 8/2/2016-18/5/2019 goodnight sleep tight xxxx
On Monday 13th May 2019 Ruffus Buzzing whom we rescued via your Melling site in 2010 finally succumbed to a very aggressive form of Bone cancer. He was (and still is) very loved and missed terribly by his foster Mum & Dad. We miss you Ruffus - thank you for your love. X
My boy fell asleep in my arm's on the morning of the 27th of November 2018. A part of me went with him that day & I have never been the same since & don't believe I ever will be. He was the most incredible dog, he saw me through some of the worst & best times of my life & I miss him so much it genuinely hurts. He gave me & my family 10 years of loyalty, safety, love, laughter, cuddles, kisses & memories. Always walk with me Harley, until we meet again. Erin xxx
(This beautiful photo was taken on Erin's wedding day)
Rex. 16 1/2 years old. Much loved pet of the Gawthorne family
Some photos you just don't want to add to the album. Gin came in to us in a sorry state with his friend Maggie. They had the great fortune to be adopted by Laura....Hi Tracey. Just to let you know that our handsome boy is no longer with us. Gin died at home in his basket this morning with my arms around him and Maggie lying next to him. She's not left him since. We'll miss our big guy but I hope we made him happy. Laura

Oh Laura, I'm gutted for you.Thank you for giving him the best possible life. We are extremely grateful to you. I will add the gorgeous boy to our tribute album. It has certainly not been a week for good news. I hope Maggie is ok without him. I really am very sorry he is gone, I am sure living with you extended his life. Tracey x
