22.5.19 Yesterday Paul and I said goodbye to our beutiful big boy Teddy Warpig. Teds hadn't been well for a bit, not that you would know as he still was very Teddy like. Teddy was rescued by us 5 years ago. No-one ever really knew how old he was except for Teddy himself, and he wasn't for telling us. He could sit looking so proud sometimes we always like to think he was in the Raj previously. We believe he had a very well spoken voice most of the time, and the rest of the time very low, thick accent. I like to think he had a good life with lots of love and cuddles, and trips out in his chariot. We love him very much and miss his stupid face. Wewould like to thank all of the staff at Carla Lane for giving us Teddy and all of their help towards the end of his life, in particular a big thanks to Cath who contacted us regularly to let us rant and to provide advice on his illness, both professionally and personally. We Sleep well Teddy warpig, a good boy to the end and a splendid dog. Rachel Xxx

On Monday 13th May 2019 Ruffus Buzzing whom we rescued via your Melling site in 2010 finally succumbed to a very aggressive form of Bone cancer. He was (and still is) very loved and missed terribly by his foster Mum & Dad. We miss you Ruffus - thank you for your love. X
My boy fell asleep in my arm's on the morning of the 27th of November 2018. A part of me went with him that day & I have never been the same since & don't believe I ever will be. He was the most incredible dog, he saw me through some of the worst & best times of my life & I miss him so much it genuinely hurts. He gave me & my family 10 years of loyalty, safety, love, laughter, cuddles, kisses & memories. Always walk with me Harley, until we meet again. Erin xxx

Some photos you just don't want to add to the album. Gin came in to us in a sorry state with his friend Maggie. They had the great fortune to be adopted by Laura....Hi Tracey. Just to let you know that our handsome boy is no longer with us. Gin died at home in his basket this morning with my arms around him and Maggie lying next to him. She's not left him since. We'll miss our big guy but I hope we made him happy. Laura

Oh Laura, I'm gutted for you.Thank you for giving him the best possible life. We are extremely grateful to you. I will add the gorgeous boy to our tribute album. It has certainly not been a week for good news. I hope Maggie is ok without him. I really am very sorry he is gone, I am sure living with you extended his life. Tracey x

This is my boy, Chappie, I love and miss him so so much, I can't stop thinking about him and end up in tears, I didn't let him out because of the roads, gangs of lads and dogs, he was safe with me all snuggled up on my bed, I can't believe he isn't here anymore xxxx my poor boy. Susan xxxx

This is a very personal tribute that I have the owners permission to share. I have included all her dogs in this item including Timmy who is very definitely still owned and loved by Ann...Tracey , I’ve been a supporter of carla lane animals in need for years , I got my two dogs from them in 2003 , when We adopted two together , roxy and max , , we had just lost our King Charles , Jack , .
We paid you a visit on a good Friday and found not one but two dogs roxy and max , they had always lived together , they totally. Adored each other . So Easter Monday , they arrived in their forever home .
Max was so lost when we lost roxy , so we came to you. With max and Cassie picked us , what can we say , we had taken a couple of walks with different dogs , but it was Cassie , who waited for max to catch up , she loved him from the start , but him being the older boy , he loved her in his own way , which showed at times of stress , when he would cuddle up , or just let her have her way , over the bed , couch or just our knees , they saw me through such sad times of losing my partner bill of 25 years to lung cancer , amazing how two dog knew when to be gentle , quiet , loving , , when a wet nose or cuddles or kisses where needed so as max
grew older and I Lost him too , Cassie start to struggle , we came back to you and you let me adopt Timmy , my little Romanian rescue dog , I’ve struggled with his behaviour , while walking, how he reacted to , men , bikes , dogs , or anyone near him ,.
He was so taken with Cassie straight away , she came round, then i lost Cassie last week to cancer , could not let her go through all the pain .
Timmy has been my saviour, knowing when I needed the wet noses , the kisses , or just a touch , we have started to take a longer walk and he has responded to these . To a point where he has start to gain confidence over the last week . A great house dog, is great with my two young nieces , walks are getting to be fun for him I can’t thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the years , Roxy , Max , Cassie( diamond) and Timmy. RIP Beautiful Buster adopted by Zachary and family many years ago.
Buster was a little half blind Staffie, sadly passed away in December, but he was a happy boy and after a year or two he got a little sister who he was inseperable from. I'm just happy we managed to give him a forever home. x
After 10 years, we had to say goodbye to our beautiful girl Lassie. She had such a lively character and would have run for hours chasing a tennis ball if we had let her. She was so loving, always there to greet us when when got home with her fluffy tail wagging. We really have lost a member of the family and are truly heartbroken. We love you so much Lass. One day we'll see you again over the rainbow bridge. Anna & family x
💔💔💔 they said you were special and they were right. My heart is broken.
Lynne we are so sorry you have lost Heidi. Sending our love. Tracey x
It is heartbreaking to have to write this but on the 22nd March, after almost 10 years we have had to say goodbye to our wonderful dog Polo.
When we first meet she was and also has been a big softy. Since then she has been there for so many happy and sad times.

One of my stories about her is I had come home alone in the early hours from the hospital after the birth of my lad. After sorting out a few things I sat down with a plate of beans on toast. Before starting it I fell asleep only to wake up in the morning with Polo fast asleep on my lap. I sorted my self and Polo out and headed back out to the hospital. On the way there I realized I never eat the food but the plate was spotless when I took it back to the kitchen.

Polo was a cheeky dog but she knew what she could get away with including robbing my food when I was not looking /sleeping.

Regardless of when I would get in nothing would make me smile more than seeing her head pop up from behind the curtains.

She is really missed

I want to thank the staff at animals in need for doing what you do. You gave me, my wife and kids an amazing friend that will always be close to our hearts. Tony
