Find us in Melling

Carla Lane Animals in Need, 3 Spurriers Lane, Melling, Liverpool, L31 1BA.

Our entrance has tall metal gates with the rescue’s name. Keep the gates closed behind you and follow the path around to the left for reception. Staff may be caring for animals, so please arrange animal visits in advance.

Visiting the animals

Animal visits are by invitation and appointment only after you have completed an adoption questionnaire. Please wait for the team to contact you before coming to meet an animal. Unexpected visitors cannot be shown around the animals.

Dropping off donations

Donation drop-off is available from 10am to 12 noon and 1pm to 4pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We are closed on Tuesdays. These are donation hours, not open visiting hours for the animals.

Check our accepted items before bringing supplies. The rescue is unable to collect donations from people’s homes.

Meeting an animal? Complete the adoption questionnaire first and wait for an invitation to an appointment.
