I will add to this album as I take more photos! We currently have 10 cockerels and some hens. We have 2 turkeys Trevor and Tammy(RIP 21.6.18), 5 geese, 1 duck, 1 goat. We also have 5 fancy chickens possibly Silkies? We always appreciate donations of food for them. They need mixed corn, bread, hay and vegetables.

16.2.16 This week we have taken in a further 25 chickens. They are all ex battery hens who have escaped, when about to be transported to their sad fate. So here we have 25 lucky hens. They will be well fed and cared for and when they feel like it they will lay eggs for us. These eggs are used by our volunteers to make lovely cakes for our refreshments stall at our Fun Dog Shows! These hens are also available for rehoming. We require them to live a free range life with plenty of room and we ask for a donation of £5 per hen to cover their worming etc. If you are interested in rehoming a hen, please ring the Sanctuary on 0151 549 0959 or come down to see us any day 1.00 until 4.30pm
