Introducing our new pups looking for forever homes. The are x Lurchers. We do not know breed of dad. Please be aware that they are going to be big dogs, mum is a large lurcher and they are already big for 7 weeks old. Any one interested must call the rescue on 01515490959 to make an appointment as they are currently in a foster home. They need homes with children over 5 years old and if you live in rented accommodation you must provide proof you can have a pet before viewing. Please think long and hard about the below before contacting us 1- Are you prepared to take on house training of a pup and see them through the chewing stage. 2- pups can’t be left alone for long periods of time. Are you planning on changing job or hours in the future 3- regardless of what life throws at you I.e split with partner, children, house moves! Are you prepared to take into consideration what the dog needs and not bring them back because things get a little tough! 4- these pups could live for upto 16 years. Do you have that level of commitment. If you have any doubts about the above then it’s best to wait. We look forward to hearing from those of you with no doubts about the above.

VISITOR BOOKED Meet our gorgeous little Milo! Milo is a 5 month old staffie puppy and is a typical playful lad with lots of energy. He will be a great family pet, he has lived with cats and is good with other dogs! We would like a home with older children for him as puppies are nippy. Please come down any day between 1 and 4.30pm if you would like to meet him 🐶🐾💛
Out handsome Hagrid is happy to be back in the staffroom he is a snuggle monster 💙 come and adopt him!!
Rubi is a beautiful 5 year old red staff cross, she has come in via the pound. Rubi has been seen by the police and is NOT a banned breed but what she is, is a loving, pleasant, cuddly gorgeous girl inside and out. She is spotless in her kennel and brilliant in a home she stayed with her transporter overnight and was no bother, she also travelled well in the car. She walks perfectly on the lead and seems fine walking near other dogs too But does need to be the only pet in the house. Rubi can live with sensible older children.
Meet our gorgeous Rosie! She is a 10 month old springer spaniel cross. She is a lovely girl who can be very nervous when she first meets you so needs time to get to know and trust new people. She is especially nervous of men. She is playful with other dogs so could live with another dog. We think a home with older children would suit Rosie due to her nervousness. Please ask to meet our little girl! 💜🐾💜

Beautiful Narla is looking for her forever home. Narla is a totally adorable 2 year old Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog, she has come in to us because after having a couple of homes already, she was finding it difficult to settle with a young child in her last home. Narla is a snuggly little bear once she knows and trusts you, but needs a knowledgeable adult home with no other pets, as she has lived with another dog in the past and did not enjoy it. Narla needs someone with experience of bulldogs who will help her feel safe and secure so she can truly settle for life. Who could resist that gorgeous little face! VIEWER BOOKED This is Bryson he is a 1 year old shorkie, he is a lovely little friendly boy, we are looking for an active home willing to give him all the love and cuddles he needs. He needs regular grooming. He is a very boisterous dog and will need an active owner. 💙🐾💙
Mr serious Reggie doesn’t look too impressed in his Halloween costume, he did enjoy licking the pumpkins and playing in the hay though! Poor Reggie is looking for a new home again, we get lots of people saying we are too strict on we’re our dogs go and our criteria being to strict but this is why. Poor Reggie is only a puppy, he is 8 months old and he is a bull terrier, and as many bullbreed owners will know they never truly grow up. Reggie has been returned recently for chewing, nipping and being a silly boy. He is desperate for a knowledgeable bully home with adults only. He is good with dogs just very boisterous, he does not like cats. Reggie needs rules and time to settle in, he needs training and socialisation classes he a pup and shouldn’t be in kennels at this age he should be out learning how to behave. 🐾💙🐾
Belle the collie/staff mix has just arrived and believe it or not she’s 9 years old, she acts like a puppy! She has not met dogs or cats but has met children and behaved perfectly. She has been described as a perfect pet for whoever adopts her, she is house trained and doesn’t chew when left. Belle would love a home soon 💖
Meet the very beautiful Maisie! She came over from abroad when she was only 5 months old, and has now been returned to us at 17 months old due to a change in family circumstances. She is an absolute sweetheart. Has lived with cats and is good with dogs. She is a bouncy puppy but can live with children over 5. She is clean in the house, doesn’t chew and gives her paw for a treat, what more could you want?! We are open every day from 1-4.30pm to meet Maisie. ❤️
ADOPTED ** How cute is teddy! He is a 3 year old shihtzu cross Bichon. He has come into us as he has snapped at the child in the home. He is a lovely friendly boy he jumped on my knee for a cuddle and he has never met me before! He needs an adult only home. Teddy has always been the only pet in the house but does seem ok when out walking. Teddy would love a new home soon 💙
Beautiful young American Bulldog cross mini Misty is looking for a home without other pets, but as she is super friendly and has been raised in a home with children we think she would do well with older children - simply because she’s a lovely lively girl who could knock over little ones accidentally! One year old Misty has only ever known love and happiness, and her owner was devastated to have to part with her. We would love to see this pretty girl out of kennels and back in a comfy home very soon. If you have medium to large dog and/or bull breed experience please come and meet this stunning girl, we promise you won’t be disappointed!
We can’t believe our gorgeous little Viv is still waiting for her forever home! She had some time out yesterday in the staff room, she got lots of extra cuddles and attention and she was loving it 🐶🐾 Viv is 3 years old and needs a pet free home. Viv has polyps in her ears, this has been checked by our vet and medication is not needed but she may need treatment in the future. NOW HOMED Little Pippa arrived tonight. She is a 9 week old German pointer mix. She is an amazing, cuddly puppy who could easily adapt to a home with other pets with the correct training in place. Puppy’s are cute but they will nip, scratch, chew and need lots of training and socialising so please don’t enquire because she is cute, research the breed and remember adopting a puppy is for life. ADOPTED Prepare to fall in love. Milo is a 2 year old pug. He is a happy friendly boy very active and healthy. He enjoys lots of fuss and has been great around children just excitable, we rehome with children 5 and over. He seems good with dogs.
